Congratulations to the team of Bob Peters and his grandson Chasin Boniface on winning our last tournament of the season on Couch with a weight of 7.01 lbs.. Coming in second was the team of Dave Faiola and Andy Werner with a weight of 5.14 lbs. as well as big fish overall with a 4.10 lb. largie. Congratulations to everyone that came out and fished with us this season, including some former members.
Honey Harbour October 14th 2023
Congratulations to the team of Sandor Arany and George Anderson on winning our Honey Harbour event with a weight of 14.03 lbs. Coming in second place was the team of Mike Major and Joe Giavedoni with a weight of 10.13 lbs. as well as Big Fish with a 3.15 lb. largie. And rounding third was the team of Dave Faiola and Andy Werner with 7.14 lbs. A great day had by all as the rain held off and the winds were light most of the day. Looking forward to our last event of the season on Couch next weekend, see everyone on the water.

With 2 tournaments left to go the race for T.O.T.Y is very close with just over 6 lbs. separating the top 2 teams. Looking forward to Honey Harbour in a couple of weeks, hopefully the big girls will come out to play.
Bernie Major Memorial Sparrow Lake September 9th 2023
What a beautiful day to have this tournament. First thing is i would like to thank everyone that came out to honour Bernie’s memory, including several past West Toronto members it was greatly appreciated. Before blast off we had a toast in Bernie’s memory as well as after weigh in before everyone departed we had a toast again. We were also informed by his son Mike Major that the family had planted a tree and placed a plaque in Bernie’s memory on the island across from the launch at Lauderdale Marina. I want to congratulate the team of Sandor Arany and George Anderson on taking the win with 14.72 lbs. as well as Big Fish with a 4.35 lb. largie. Coming in second was the team of Dave Faiola and Andy Werner with 10.79 lbs. and rounding out third place was the team of Mike and Mark Major with 10.14 lbs. it is coming down to a tight race in the T.O.T.Y standings with only 3 tournament left to go before the season ends. Another tough day on the water had by all. A tough day on the lake had by all due to extreme weather conditions. I want to congratulate the team of Sandor Arany and George Anderson for thier 3rd win of the season with 11.97 lbs. as well as Big Fish with a 4.01 largie. Coming in second was the team of Dave Faiola and Andy Werner with a weight of 9..85 lbs. and rounding out 3rd was the team of Mike Major and Joe Giavedoni with a weight of 7.25 lbs.

Coming in a close second was the Team of Dave Faiola and Andy Werner with a weight of 12.41lbs. and rounding out third was the Team of Bob Peters and Mike Major with a weight of 10.80lbs. Was a tough day fishing as lots of fish were caught, but all were cookie cutters.

These 2 also took the Team of the Year award with a total of 87.60 lbs. weighed in for 6 tournaments, great job. Coming in second in the tournament was the team of Sandor Arany and George Anderson with a weight of 13.61 lbs. It was a great year had by all and i cannot wait for the start of the 2023 season to see what it brings for all.
